Clock Museum and Repair Shop Class
Spinney Clock Museum 2:00 to 4:00 PM
Become an expert on
purchasing and caring for an antique clock!
Attendees may receive a verbal appraisal for
one antique clock, per person, for a donation of $10.
Verbal appraisals will be made by
Antiquarian Horologist and Supervisor, Marshall Irving.
Program Presenter is John Burns, Administrator & Instructor at The Spinney Antique Clock Museum and Repair Shop.
Attendees will meet at
The Spinney Clock Museum located on the grounds
of The Mather House Museum

Museum Shop Opens
The Museum Shop has donated and consigned antiques
for sale in the 1840's Craft House
located to the right of the main house.
Come find that "special" gift or treasure.
The shop is open the same hours as the museum.

Opening of the Museum
The Mather Museum opens for the season with the newly refurbished interior.
This Year's Exhibit:
"Celebrations, Festivals & Events in Port Jefferson"
This years exhibit will be featuring celebrations, festivals and events that have occurred in Port Jefferson over the years.
How will you be celebrating Memorial Day this year?
Do you think it can compare to The Fun Fest reported in the 1929 Crystal?
The museum is open with guided tours on

4th of July Parade
The Historical Society will have a float in the
Annual 4th of July Parade which travels down Main Street
starting at 10:00 AM

The 25th Annual Fall Auction
Outdoor Antiques Auction
under a tent on the museum lawn (rain or shine).
You'll find many unique items to choose from.

Victorian Christmas tree and decorations, toy and doll exhibit,

Spring Antiques & Garden Weekend

All Day Show and Sale
Two day antiques & garden show in the Village Center.
Three floors of quality vendors
selling antiques and collectibles.
The Suwassett Garden Club
will have a garden booth with flowers and plants
and a bake sale of homemade goodies.
The weekend will include raffles, 50/50 drawing and refreshments.
Cafe - Offering Sandwiches, Coffee and Cold Drinks.
Admission Saturday and Sunday is $5 ($1 off with postcard).
